Local seafood for local pets
Dogs and cats love how our treats taste, but what they don’t know is that seafood is packed with beneficial nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids, calcium, vitamins, and minerals. Plus our treats are made with fish caught by North Carolina fisherfolk, so you’re supporting our state’s fishing industry while your pet nibbles away.
Learn more about Pamlico Pawté and Brunswick Chews below, including how to buy them.
Pamlico Pawté
Pamlico Pawté is made from one ingredient: fish. We fillet fish for our human customers and save the remaining meat, bones, and skin for your furry friends. These parts of the fish are not consumed by most Americans, and therefore often go to waste.
By sharing Pamlico Pawté with your pet, you’re helping reduce waste in the seafood industry and providing a delicious snack for your dog or cat!
MADE WITH LOCAL FISH
We start with fresh, local fish caught by North Carolina fisherfolk. After our team fillets the fish for our restaurant and retail customers, we grind up the rest of the fish.
GENTLY COOKED
The treat is vacuum sealed and cooked using sous vide to 145 degrees Fahrenheit to kill bacteria.
FROZEN
The treat is frozen for easy storage and to kill pathogens. Pamlico Pawté should stay frozen until you’re ready to serve.

How to serve Pamlico Pawté
Pamlico Pawté is great for cats and dogs.
Pamlico Pawté should be stored frozen until the day before you want to serve it. Thaw it in the fridge for 12 to 24 hours.
You can serve Pamlico Pawté as a treat or a snack for your furry friend. Save it for a special occasion, or serve a little bit every day. You can even mix it in with their regular food.
If your pet doesn’t enjoy Pawté cold, you can mix it with a splash of warm water.
Once you’ve opened the package, you may store any leftover treat in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
