SALINITY high
SHELL SIZE large
CUP DEPTH moderate

GROWN IN Stump Sound near Topsail
CULTIVATED BY James Hargrove of Middle Sound Mariculture

Grown in the famous Stump Sound, Tarheel Tiderunners have a classic Carolina oyster flavor: high salinity with a buttery, meaty flavor. The flavor lingers, giving you a taste of the coast for minutes after you slurp down your first Tiderunner.

This oyster is like the cultivated equivalent to the wild Stump Sound oyster. They have a very similar flavor, but Tarheel Tiderunners are clean, single, and easy to shuck.
