Cobia are large slow-moving fish. They often tag along with bigger creatures like sharks, sea turtles, and rays. Their meat has intense fat marbling giving it a buttery flavor and soft texture. The bulk of their diet is shrimp and crabs, resulting in a sweet taste. Cobia is a staff favorite at Locals Seafood!
Because of its distinct flavor, we sell out of cobia very quickly when we have it. We strongly encourage customers to reserve their cobia order ahead of the weekend markets when we have it available. You can reserve your order here.
COOKING METHODS
