Careers at Locals Seafood
Join our hardworking, passionate team! Current openings are listed below.
Becoming a Fish Scaler is the very first step to learning how to prepare delicious seafood. You get to work with a small team of people who love seafood and are excited to teach you how to cut and prepare fish. When you work with us you get to be physically active, you develop a wealth of knowledge about North Carolina seafood, and you get to work with folks who are motivated by completing their checklists so the team is prepared for the next day. Sure, it gets messy, and there are some low-tide smells, but we wouldn’t have it any other way!
If this is your first time working in a production kitchen or working with fish, we’re happy to help you get your feet wet. We’re rapidly expanding and are looking for people who want to learn and grow with us! We’ll teach you everything you need to know and everything you’d like to learn about seafood.
