Perhaps the most simple and elegant item we sell, the scallop is one of those things that is easy to love. They taste intensely of the sea, sear quickly and require no preparation other than the pat of a paper towel – fast [sea]food at its finest.

These mollusks are beautiful inside and out – “the edible portion, the white muscle that opens and closes the two shells, is the most popular part to eat in North America. The reproductive glands known as ‘the coral’ are also edible but not widely consumed” here, however it is hard to find a scallop dish in Australia or New Zealand that does not contain the coral.

Rich in vitamin B12, protein, and selenium, and low in saturated fat, our scallops are a luxurious treat for the whole family.
